The only dedicated rock climbing gym on the Island of Hawaii. Routes for all levels of climbing. BOULDERING ONLY. No ropes. Liquid chalk, no chalk balls.We have approximately 800 sq. ft. of bouldering (unroped climbing on 14 foot high walls) with a multitude of routes/problems for all ability levels. There is also a comfortable observation area where friends and parents can sit and watch our members and guests climb. We also offer a variety of virtual reality adventures on both the Oculus and Steam platforms. Please stop by and see us sometime. Climbing shoes required and we rent them for $3.00 if you don’t have your own. Sweaty folks should bring their own towel as well. Please see our FAQ for more information. We are on the corner of Kalakaua and Keawe in downtown Hilo, 1 block up from the Tsunami Museum. We host private parties for the climbing walls and for the virtual reality. Sometimes there are buyouts. We encourage our guests and members to check our calendar on this website before coming in to make sure we are not closed for a buyout condition. We are open every day of the week from Noon to 8pm. Every Second Saturday we are open at 11am to allow for Keiki Day where kids get free shoe rental until 2pm.
