Growing up in small town Utah, the rugged snow-covered mountain sides were a part of my winter wonderland. The lesson that I learned at a very young age when maneuvering down this snow-covered landscape is that twists, turns and bends are all going to happen. However, understanding the path you’re going to take to get down the mountain will help you to navigate the mountain with greater success. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, this lesson proved valuable in many aspects of my life.
For over a decade, I have been married to a man who served in the military; we have taken twists, turns and bends in every aspect of our life. The only point of stability was that we had a plan and we knew what path we needed to take to get to our final destination.
I am blessed to call Hawaii my home and Edward Jones my family. Much like the lesson I learned as a young child, I know that life can include bends, twists and turns. Much like sledding down the mountain, these life changes can be fun, exhilarating or even overwhelming.
